El Hotel La Casona está a 10 minutos a pie del centro de Tapalpa y ocupa un edificio hermoso de estilo colonial. Staff, especially Pamela, were outstanding. All our needs were met and our stay was simply wonderful. The room was lovely and immaculate. There was a fireplace but we didn’t use it since the weather was pleasant. King size bed was comfortable and there were plenty of blankets. The breakfasts were fantastic! The entire hotel, including the lovely courtyard, was beautifully decorated and very well maintained. Quiet area. A walk to the plaza was pleasant and took less than 10 minutes. Highly recommend!!

El Rivera Del Rio está situado a 15 minutos a pie de la playa y ofrece piscina al aire libre, bañera de hidromasaje y habitaciones y suites con encanto decoradas de forma individual. I highly recommend staying here. We upgraded to a room called ‘Jocelyn’ and it was an absolutely beautiful view over looking the river valley. The room was bright and had a little fridge. The staff were fantastic! We were greeted with a margarita and fresh pico de gallo with nachos. The location was located just a little away from the hustle and bustle of the beach front and was very quiet. I especially missed being served Mezcalitas by Jesus on the rooftop patio and pool. We were served a nice breakfast each morning while we chatted over our ideas for the day. If you are looking for a quaint boutique hotel experience this is the place!

Increíblemente acogedor con un toque de lujo, bien ubicado, buena comida y un personal súper amable y servicial, especialmente nuestro nuevo amigo Andrés y Lilia que estuvieron todo el tiempo ayudándonos con todo y brindando un servicio muy cálido y excelente, así que disfrutamos mucho de nuestra estadía en Ajijic.
