I loved the view from our room. Getting mint tea brought to the room every night was a great way to end the day.

This is a stunning small hotel with beautiful gardens and 7 rooms in the heart of the Skoura palmerie. Run by a Belgium woman and her French husband and with friendly local staff. Meals are excellent. Trips with local guides are worth doing. And they can organize trips further afield (they booked a desert camp overnight for is). I visited with my 11 year old son who thought it flawless and especially loved the semi-hidden retreat areas with rugs and cushions in the garden and on the roof. The animals in a corner of the garden and the pool are also great for families. We particularly enjoyed the guided cycle ride though the palmarie, stopping off at a tiny pottery for some hands-on clay throwing (small tip expected)

This family-owned business in a 300 year old establishment was very well run. Hotel was off the beaten path in this small community, and felt very authentic. We felt like part of the family; we were welcomed and well treated. Owner Jmiaa and Talia went out if their way to accommodate our needs.
