A truly incredible stay with some of the friendliest staff I've ever seen. Our room and private onsen were fantastic. The dinner was incredibly lovely and really added to the already fantastic experience. The scenery is just beautiful and there's gorgeous viewing windows to relax and watch as long as you'd like.

Rooms in traditional Japanese style. You can select a Yukata design when checking in. The staff were very nice and personable, and the dinner with several courses was delicious. The outdoor onsen are beautiful, and you can use them until midnight. It was a great experience and one of the nicest things we did in Japan.

Cosy guesthouse close to city centre, clean and tidy, a room with a view , birds singing in the morning, affordable accommodation for budget travellers

The hotel design is very appealing, it has only been open a year, so convenient to Yubatake, bus terminal, onsens, etc. The check in was smooth, efficient & personal. We had a young lady from Nepal who spoke good english. Very spacious & comfortable rooms, lovely onsen on 1F, the breakfast & dinner was impressive & delicious. Free tea/coffee till 5:30pm. We certainly would recommend others to stay here and we would love to return.

This was an exceptional stay that felt straight out of a fairy tale. The room was gorgeous and wonderfully comfortable with the most stunning view over the river and far away roofs of the baths. The food was delicious and staff was very attentive and caring. The baths were the most extraordinary I have experienced in many years of travelling in Japan and trying out onsens, perfect temperature, views and facillities that feel both authentic and well looked after.

It was by far the best hotel experience we ever had! The region is amazing, nostalgic and peaceful (just like the perfect rural Japan we have dreamt of). The hotel staff is highly polite, helpful and lovely. The hotel itself is brand new and well designed. The hotel restaurant was delicious. And last but not least: the hotel room. Absolutely stunning, well thought and designed. So spacious, clean, private and aesthetic. We had the room with the private onsen and we will definitely coming back!!! Really a hidden gem we will keep in our hearts.

The room design was functional. It was bright with a beautiful view of Mt Akagi, the Tone river and the city.The room had everything you needed and was a good size. Staff were friendly and very helpful.
