We are located at V93 XY01 on a country road with no footpath or lighting. Use of a car or taxi is advisable. The B & B was located just outside Kilarney in a quiet property. Just a 5 minute drive to the restaurants in Kilarney. The host Conor was wonderful. He was happy to give directions as to where to visit and always stopped for a conversation.

The restaurant is outstanding with a warm, inviting atmosphere and excellent food and drinks. The staff - especially John - were extremely friendly, attentive, and welcoming, making our dinner a truly delightful experience. We will definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises.

Guests can enjoy freshly baked pastries, full Irish breakfasts, and award-winning porridge. Very clean and spacious room, comfy beds. Bathroom had all necessary amenities and more. Friendly staff. Irish breakfast was also good.

Despite being so close to the town centre, the house also enjoys the serenity and beauty of the nearby National Park and lakes, making it an ideal base for hill walking in County Kerry and the south west region. The staff was amazing and helpful. When we checked in, Linda gave us some recommendations and helped us book dinner (we loved it so much we returned the following night with help from the front desk staff again, I forgot to ask her name, but she was friendly and helpful too). The breakfast staff were inviting and cheery in the morning and the food was tasty and filling. The room was very comfortable. We had drinks in the lounge one night it was fantastic.

Each room at Guaire House Killarney has elegant design and a flat-screen TV. Teresa is a gem. The B&B is spotless and her breakfasts are bountiful and filling. Bonus points for her attention to detail with the table settings (boiled egg cozies are a fun thing to behold). We loved talking to her and whenever we were chilling out she would make us some tea. When I offered to make my own tea, she replied, "I like doing nice things for people." That about sums up her whole attitude and it made us feel so well taken care of. We did some laundry and the dryers at the laundromat were not drying anything. We tried to drape it in our room to dry, but Teresa put them all on a laundry rack for us. Did not expect that level of care. The walk into Killarney took us about 15 minutes...a little bit of a hill going back up which was only a problem when we were hauling our embarrassingly large suitcases. By the end of our 5-day stay we were significantly fitter even after indulging in ice cream and rich seafood dinners. It's so nice and quiet at the house with a view over the town and we would enjoy downtime in the sitting room. Had a random fireworks display one night which was fun. The shower is so hot and wonderful that getting out was always difficult. The Egyptian cotton bedsheets were washed, hung outside on a line, and then pressed. Getting into bed with crisp linens was so incredibly decadent and satisfying. Even the breakfast napkins were pressed! I hope one day to return, but if I don't, I'll dream of being pampered and, of course, those sheets.

Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. We had breakfast a little early and the lady seamed a little grumpy in the a. m. Facilities were great otherwise. The owner David was super helpful.. great place to stay
