Aloha Hotel Yogyakarta is a 10-minute drive from Yogyakarta Royal Palace and a 25-minute drive from Adi Sucipto International Airport. Staff was wonderful. They helped the four of us to get to Malang next day by calling around for taxi late at night. Location is perfect, quiet but close to restaurants. Will recommend to all my friends.

OKU Japanese Restaurant serves Japanese food that combines modern take and traditional flavours. Kempi Deli presents a range of amazing cakes, and can also cater to customised cake requests. The location was just behind Grand Indonesia. So that was nice. I managed to do my last minute shopping there without a hassle. At first, if you have the means, please upgrade your room with the view of Bulatan HI. It was exceptionally good. The room was spacious and super worth the money. Will stay here again if I come over to Jakarta again.

The view is breathtaking. The stay included a guided tour of Borobudur as well, although we couldn't get the sunset visit and they stopped offering sunrise tours since covid. The breakfast is amazing too, almost too much food.
