Thanks very much, Sébastien. I arrived shortly after the reception desk closed for three hours. Through the grace of God, one of the receptionists met me on her way out. She didn't ignore me and go about her business. She recognized and acknowledged that I was potentially a guest at their hotel and allowed me to leave my luggage until it was time for check-in. This supported my ability to have a hassle-free visit around their beautiful city while I waited for their check-in time. The room was gorgeous, and one was welcomed with a decanter of water. I adored their attention to detail with their decanters and the decor. It's a reminder that one is not staying just anywhere. One is staying at the Hotel Baren. The view of the landmark was amazing. Breakfast was great. All the staff were friendly and accommodating. I would visit again and I would recommend it to everyone.
