Free Wi-Fi is available. We enjoyed everything about our stay at Villa Vicuña Wine & Boutique Hotel. Our only regret, truly, is that we were only guests of Villa Vicuña for only a single night. Though it is unlikely we will return to Cafayate, there is no doubt that if circumstances do delivery us back into its embrace that we will look no further than Villa Vicuña for accommodation.

Providing a tranquil environment, the bright rooms in Villa Cardon feature private bathrooms and garden views. Incredible lovingly restored traditional house. Spacious room with authentic touches with comfortable beds, good shower and a fantastic breakfast with everything made at home from scratch. And we even had an avocado. Special thanks to Ariel for making us a delicious locro for dinner and gratitude to Augustin for hospitality friendliness, and for special breakfast. It was not a stay, it was an experience❤️

Set in a charming early 20th Century adobe and stone house, Sala de Payogasta offers Breakfast and there is restaurant. The town hall is 1 km away.

Decorated with gabled wooden ceilings and tiled floors, heated rooms at Sala de Payogasta are very airy. All of them have private bathrooms. The view was phenomenal. Breakfast in front of the mountains. Staff extremely friendly. We had a power cut the whole night we stayed but it didn't bother us as everything was made to make us feel confortable. Wished you could have stayed longer. Very recommendable location

Decorated with unique pieces of furniture made by local craftsmen, rooms at Hotel Hacienda de Molinos have scenic mountain views. They feature tiled floors and 4-poster beds. The house was the residence of the last Spanish Governor. the property is a delight, on arrival and from the outside it does not look impressive, but as soon as you step into the enclosure, it is an oasis of peace and comfort in a quaint way.

At the restaurant of Altalaluna Hotel Boutique & Spa guests can enjoy a chef-designed menu with regional specialties and carefully selected wines from the exclusive wine cellar and local vineyards. This is the best hotel we have been to in Argentina, the place is just wonderful and the employees are very nice! The location is beautiful, surrounded by vineyards, the hotel's architecture is stunning (it looks like a Spanish "masia" or a countryside house in Italy's Tuscany). When we arrived they gave us a room in the first floor and asked for a room in the floor above to have better views, they did all they could to change our room free of charge. They also offered a free wine-tasting, so we had the chance to try all of their wines with some cheese platters (white, red, rose, from the cheaper end to the very expensive end) with a professional sommelier. The hotel offers some activities (we did a horseback-riding excursion). In the evening the garden and the terrace are full of people enjoying some nice wine, the atmosphere is really magical. A lot of people ignore the area of Cafayate (and head to Mendoza instead), that is a big mistake, not only do I think that Cafayate wine is nicer but the area is beautiful. I strongly recommend staying here!
