We love this building. Perfectly executed reconstruction, the staff is always nice, helpful and willing to give advice. The location of the hotel is also great. I read that some guests found the rooms small. I am from Europe and found the rooms adequate and providing all comforts. We will definitely come back again. Thank you!

    The Menger is a beautiful hotel situated right in the centre of San Antonio, next to the Alamo. It is a historic building with period features but with modern comforts - very different to the modern hotels used on the rest of our trip. Comfortable bed and nice furnishings in the room. Good valet staff, busy at check out time but well managed. Lovely pool with complimentary towels.
