Boutique Hotels in Atami

The best accommodation during all our trip in Japan. My partner and I were already looking forward to Hakone, because of all the nature, onsens, vulcanic activity and Aura Tachibana. In our itinerary, we were supposed to go to a bunch of places in Hakone, but when we got inside Aura... we abandoned our plans, just so we could relax in the private inbedroom onsen. Definitely it was the best decision ever, specially after our "speedrun" through Tokyo. Not only the private inbedroom onsen was incredible, the food was amazing and the staff was so nice. Aura also became a really special place for me and my partner, because it was there were we got engaged. We will come back in some years to celebrate again.

This place is magical. One of the highlights of our 3 week Japan trip was staying at Ks. Everyone was friendly, the room was spotless, the communal areas were clean and well kept and the onsens fabulous. We had a family room and all slept very well on tatami mats and futons. We used both the private and public onsens. The room is spacious and the outlook over the stream at night is sensational. We were fortunate to be there when they had a fireworks display on the beach which was awesome.There is also a washing machine and dryer for 500yen which really helped having a family of 5. If you are looking for a traditional stay and a truly memorable experience this is it.
