The view was spectacular, overlooking the Forresto Sparso valley. The rooms were finished to a really high standard, very spacious, plenty of parking. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the dogs were great companion to my kids! The restaurant was also superb, probably one of the best meal we had in our 8 days in Italy so far. Not to mention their own sparkling wine being of very high standard.

What a nice boutique hotel in perfect location in the Cittá Alta of Bergamo! If you arrive by air like I did, I warmly recommend taking bus number 1 from Bergamo airport which arrives after 30 minutes at the old town entry, after that an easy 10-minute walk to the hotel. Such old towns are not meant for cars, but there are parkings. After check-in and instructions from friendly Marta, I was happy to find a spacious, cosy room with a good bed, minibar and fine bathroom. This is not the cheapest hotel in Bergamo, but you pay for quality. In the morning, I enjoyed a very decent breakfast before walking to the bus stop. I will come back.
