Everything. Brilliant breakfast. The staff are the same as they have been for the past 8 years since the first time we stayed here. Free coffee in reception is a definite winner. As I have lots of family who live in and around Gorizia, we were able to invite them back for a coffee(s) and extra long chats. One of them is in a wheelchair and parking was provided for them even they weren’t guests, so as to make it easier to access the hotels for a coffee. The rooms are a little outdated, but they are fully equipped with everything you could want. And breakfast - everything was super tasty and lots of of choices.

Hotel Franz is in the centre of Gradisca d'Isonzo, a 5-minute drive from the A4 Motorway exit. It offers a varied breakfast buffet, along with free parking and a traditional restaurant. Wi-Fi is free....

We got a free upgrade (bigger room) which was great! Also a really relaxing spa area which is worth a visit. Really good breakfast as well!

The Sam Hotel is set in a modern building in Monfalcone. The area is great for parking and is only a short walk from the historic centre.

The hotel is spotlessly clean, the rooms are comfortable and well equipped. The hotel staff is kind and professional. The breakfast is varied and delicious. I could not imagine anything more (despite there were no eggs even in the Eastertime – some people made complaints on booking.com 😉). There are enough parking lots in the immediate vicinity. You can easily reach the town centre, restaurants, cafes, supermarkets on foot.

Just 1 km from the Adriatic Sea and Trieste Bay, Hotel Eden is in Sistiana, a 10-minute drive from the Slovenian border. The modern rooms feature an LCD TV and free internet access.

Renovated, parking, all good. If you have to stay for some reason in Monfalcone (poor you, be carefull in the evening), it is a good spot to chose.

Hotel Ai Dogi is in the central square of Palmanova just 50 metres from the Cathedral. Rooms offer plasma-screen satellite TV and free Wi-Fi, and some have views of the square.

Our studio apartment was attractively decorated in contemporary style and very comfortable. Our host was welcoming and informative, we enjoyed our occasional chats. Cividale is a charming town and it was great to return for a short visit.
