My stay at Sheraton was amazing. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the train station, which is a great catch. After booking, the hotel reservation team sent me a link to its website, which has fabulous ideas of activities you can explore while in Athlone. There was constant communication from the team ahead of my arrival. It was my birthday and they made it so special, the personnel at the reception wished me a Happy Birthday as I walked in, and on walking to into my room I was welcomed with a plate of cake, chocolate and a birthday card from the hotel management. Everything about my stay was perfect. The pool, spa, breakfast, and dinner were indeed amazing. The staff are so courteous, they were always ready to help and were beaming with smiles always. I highly recommend and would definitely return when next I visit Athlone. The oldest pub in Ireland, "Sean's bar," is a 10 mins walk away, too 😊

Really good location and a beautiful hotel. Good value for money with extremely friendly staff and great food at the restaurant. They catered for all our needs and more. Thanks to all staff who made our stay amazing!

Warm welcome, very helpful and courteous staff. Fantastic room, with very comfortable bed. Lovely location next to the river and just a 10 min walk into town .

It is the cleanest B&B I've ever been to (and I've been to quite a few) and the room was exceptional. Excellent Irish breakfast, too.
