The hotel is great, with great style and super clean. I like the traditional design a lot. There is a new area to walk around with very traditional cottages, with Christmas decorations all was very beautiful. I have made a 10 minute walk to the main street where there are many shops and restaurants. Also the hotel is not far from airport and for me it was very convenient as I have an early morning flight back.

This is my second stay at the Townhouse Hotel, and it once again exceeded expectations. The hotel itself is a delight – clean, stylishly designed throughout, with lovely bedrooms boasting well-stocked bathrooms. They even have a variety of conference rooms and facilities, perfect for business travelers. While Manchester offers many hotels with similar amenities, what truly sets the Townhouse apart is its incredible staff. They go above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. They are the absolute heart of this fantastic hotel! I'd like to personally thank Lorena, Paris, Florida, Jan, John, and Glym. Whether they were serving us a delicious full English or continental breakfast, expertly organizing our stay at reception, or patiently waiting for our late 2 am arrival, their genuine care and helpfulness were outstanding. If you're looking for a hotel in Manchester city center, I wholeheartedly recommend the Townhouse. The combination of stylish accommodations and exceptional staff makes it a top choice. Ted Duggan

The staff were absolutely wonderful. It must have been a busy weekend for them with several events on in the city but they were always happy to not just help, but also chat. Brought scissors to the room when I needed to cut some tags off clothes, happily fixed our key cards for us, etc. Just brilliant. Room was comfy and clean, and bathroom was lovely. Desk with lamp and TV were a nice touch. Floor to ceiling window with loads of natural light and all the amenities you could need - kettle, tea and coffee, iron, etc. Thought it was great value for the location and the level of comfort. Didn't use the gym or restaurant and didn't get breakfast so can't comment on that.

We spent one night at the Midland Hotel and absolutely loved it. The hotel is located in a magnificent old building in the very center of the city, super easy to reach from the train station and the airport. From the hotel, we did everything by foot. The hotel has been recently renovated with a lot of taste. We booked a standard room which was super spacious with a very nice bathroom. The possibilty to check in and out online is super pratical. We ordered some cocktails from the hotel bar, the staff was super nice and the cocktails were amazing. We also visited the spa for an hour and really enjoyed it. Overall a super good value for money in a very special location. We totally recommend it!
