Check-in was superb, well prepared no fuss and no admin. Reception before dinner was amazing, the lounges and fireplaces set for a relaxed atmosphere where canape starters were served. The restaurant and food exceeded all expectations. The view over the valley from our room was stunning in the night mist and sunrise.

What can one say about such a perfect stay except wish it had been more than one night! Excellent comfy room with all one would need surrounded by so many antique pieces and lovely china. Loved all the little touches , scone jam and cream, shortbread biscuits, a fine selection of teas, sleep aid spray for pillow, fruit, newspaper and ice for my g+t. Wonderful atmosphere as soon as you opened front gate and entered The Townhouse greeted by host. Tastiest omelette at breakfast with excellent croissants . Feel lucky to have found this gem.
