Well.. a nice surprise. A few years ago, a colleague stayed a few times and did not rate the place. Not sure if it's changed ownership, but it's a beautiful, quirky building, very nicely restored in a mid century kind of way. I was in a room in the 700s which are on the hillside through a James Bond villain tunnel and lift. Nicely appointed room, well done bathroom all super clean. And an actual minibar. With things in it. Proper cups for coffee, not paper. A former colleague joined for dinner in the Cafe, with well presented food and good service, the downstairs bar is really a hidden gem too. All in all, way exceeded my expectations and thoroughly recommend it.

Along the E45 and 6 km from the city centre is the Scandic Kolding Hotel. The Legoland Theme Park and Billund Airport are only 35 km away.

It's right next to the main Highway & easy access, so tgat was great The reception staff were so nice & plenty of room to park, free too.. We didn't eat in as we went to meet friends. Breakfast was very well appointed

Nice big hotel, with the comfortable rooms. Pretty good breakfast. Sweeming pool good for children. Free parking.

Breakfast Buffet was excellent, however recommend removing the 45 min time restriction or at minimum extend it to an hour so that guests aren't rushed to hurry through their meals.

Good choice of food although not hot enough,, bread amazing though!😁,, Hane at reception went above and beyond to help us. Amazing view of the water and bridges from outdoor balcony and breakfast room.

This Middelfart hotel, located 800 metres from the water, offers nice views of Little Belt and rooms in different categories - all with a flat-screen TV.
