In a prime location in the centre of Hermanus, The W-Collection Esplanade Hermanus offers free WiFi throughout the property, a terrace and free private parking for guests who drive. But neither the street in front nor the entrance door turned out to be a nuisance (it was indeed quite comfortable). After it turned out that this was indeed the room I booked, we started to be happy and enjoyed our stay very much. Even the fact of not having the expected washing machine (some sports clothes were in dire need), had no negative impact, as washing was offered and issued properly. Trevor, Banash (?) and his colleagues couldn’t have been more helpful, attentive & gentle. The place was clean, modernly furnished and equipped with everything needed for an even longer stay. Even bottled water and milk were in rhe fridge. Oh, yes, a tea towel would be fine next time. The town is just around the corner. Frances café, 1 min walk, just great for breakfast. We would be happy to return to Esplanade Hermanus and their friendly staff.

Blaauwberg Beach Hotel is situated on the beachfront in Bloubergstrand and features air-conditioned rooms with free high-speed WiFi. The view from my room was spectacular. The staff were amazing. I’ve stayed in many hotels around the world but I have to say that the staff at here were amazing. Housekeeping, the reception staff, waiters at the restaurant, the reservation team! I’m not sure how they managed to recruit the right people for every position. The rooms were clean, bed comfortable, breakfast had great choices. The ginger shots were such a great touch.

Offering an outdoor pool, spa and on-site restaurant, Drostdy Hotel is located in the beautiful town of Graaff-Reinet, which features over 220 heritage sites. An absolute treat. One of the most wonderful hotels we’ve ever stayed in offering the best of South Africa. Just pure class. The rooms, the staff, the spa, the food. 5 star all the way. We’ve spent a lot of time in SA yet we were all absolutely wowed by this place. Didn’t want to leave. Also worth mentioning that this place doubles up as a high end hospitality training school giving opportunities to the local community and training them up to work in tourism.

Located across the Menlyn Shopping Centre in Pretoria, Menlyn Boutique Hotel features an outdoor pool, a casual-dining restaurant, massage spa and conference facilities. The rooms were beautiful and clean. The staff were exceptional in particular Jafta and Respect at the restaurant. D also went out of his way to help us. It was a haven in the midst of the business of family catch-ups.

Having 3 restaurants to choose from was fantastic. Breakfast was exceptional. The setting is so lovely. The staff were all fantastic. Our villa room was beautiful, well appointed, and very comfortable. What a special place.
