Home to ski resorts, national parks and a world-famous wine region, Argentina has a lot to shout about. Stretching from the Tropic of Capricorn towards the edge of Antarctica, its astounding variety of terrains make for discoveries at every turn. The wine regions of Mendoza and Salta are also worth exploring, and in the winter you can take to the slopes of the Andes. Argentina’s nature preserves near Puerto Madryn, Punta Tombo, and Peninsula Valdes are home to wild animals such as penguins, sea lions and even whales at some times of the year.
