With beautiful views of the Northern Fells, Ravenstone Lodge is 5 miles from Keswick, at the foot of Ullock Pike so you can relax in the conservatory or on the terrace and enjoy some of the best Lake... It’s far away from the hustle and bustle of Keswick. The room is comfortable and clean. Friendly and attentive staff. Lots of choices for breakfast and the food is great. Tasty dinner with a reasonable price. A short walk from the B&B, through the fields can easily reach the Bassenthwaite Lake. Sitting at the patio at dusk, a glass of beer accompanies us to drive away the fatigue of the whole day. Staying here for three nights completed our visit to the Lake District.

The rooms were spacious and comfy and had a sink to each. The shared bathroom was only between 2-3 rooms. The sitting room had several couches and a tv with the futbol. The garden was nice and open room for the kids to run around not near a main road. The hot breakfast was delicious!

The house is great too, with amazing views and short distance to Ambleside and other tourist places. Full English breakfasts were tasty and could be adjusted according to our needs.

We had a fantastic stay at Lake View, it was a great location. The rooms were exceptionally comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, making for a truly relaxing experience. The breakfast was really nice, served across the way at a distillery. One of the standout aspects was how pet-friendly the guest house was—welcoming without any lingering pet smells, which was greatly appreciated.! They ensured there were nice touches (dog biscuits, a kettle in the conservatory, umbrellas and picnic blankets to borrow. The staff were warm, accommodating, and went out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay. I highly recommend Lake View for anyone looking for a cozy and welcoming place to stay!

Situated in the charming Cumbrian countryside and amongst 3 acres of woodland, Woodlands Hotel & Pine Lodges offer accommodation with free Wi-Fi hotspots, free parking, a restaurant, and easy access... Loved the location, the lodges were spacious and very clean.

Ees Wyke Country House is an elegant Georgian property in the Lake District, less than 3 miles from the town of Hawkshead. We were immediately welcomed and given a tour of the beautiful building, including the garden and the two lounges. Everywhere was kept toasty thanks to the fire places, and there were lots of books and board games available to pass the time. Our room was spacious, clean and kept supplied with lush hot chocolate, tea, etc. We had a fantastic view of the lake too. The staff were absolutely wonderful and couldn't be more helpful. Had a lovely chat with Ed one day, then Angela the next! The food was fantastic, I would highly recommend grabbing at least one dinner there, and definitely go down for breakfast every day. Wonderful selection, and exceedingly tasty. Incredibly cooked by the owner and solo chef, Richard!

The food was superb Dinner especially, your chef should be particularly proud as everything was cooked to perfection And beautifully fresh Great breakfast too

This family-run hotel rests on the western edge of the Lake District, offering dramatic, panoramic views of the Loweswater Valley and mountains beyond. The staff was very polite and friendly and the food was excellent 👌
