Posada de las Vinas is the epitome of exceptional. Gustavo and Alicia are warm and gracious hosts. The other staff are just as nice. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The atmosphere is tranquil and relaxed. The food and the wine... oh my God!! We shared New Year's Eve with Gustavo and Alicia, their family and friends, and the other guests. Dinner was three hours, featuring the Argentinian epitome of BBQ - the Asado, and excellent wine from the vines growing only a few meters away. Liz and I speak very little Spanish, but we really felt like part of the family - pool time, walking with the dogs through the vineyard, reading on the balcony. It's not fancy, but if you want good down-home comfort this is the place to be.
