We used google translate to communicate, but he was very proactive and helpful to get us to the place with his car, so we had no problem getting there. The house is 5min walk from Gold Museum (shuttle bus stop) and 20min walk to Jiufen old streets. There is also a nice walk and views around the house. Evertyhing in the house was clean, kitchen was well equipped and we had a nice set of bread, jam and yogurt for breakfast, as well as some coffee. For the price and even in general this was one of the best stays. I liked the trees and lush green outside the window.
