Initially we weren’t planning to pre-order dinners there, but after reading a lot of positive reviews about the food, we actually had dinner there every night! The food is exceptional - homestyle cooking of restaurant quality. The location is also great, as it’s just a short drive to several places/activities (Bojnice castle & Zoo, aquapark at Turcianske Teplice, Valcianska Dolina etc.). The couple running it are passionate about what they do & are super friendly/accommodating.

Views of the mountains from all the windows and the garden table, but only 10 minutes on foot to the supermarket and the bus stop in the town. And this cottage was really near the restaurant in the 'wooden cottage resort' where our accommodation was based. The facilities in the complex where this cottage is situated were lovely, and unexpected.

The property has river and garden views, and is 45 km from Bojnice Castle. It is possible for guests to sit outside and enjoy the property grounds. We liked that there were many rooms with beds and also 2 bathrooms in each of the apartments. Since we were for New Year's Eve time, heating and hot water worked perfectly. In each kitchen you have anything you need for cooking or serving lunch/dinner/breakfast. Location is very nice and you also have a river going around the home which makes every stay there very therapeutic. Parking places are also availabe and free. The host is a very helpful person who throught the time before and after arriving at the property, hepled us with any bit of information we needed. Kudos to him. Overall a very good experience for large groups.
