Free WiFi access is available. A relaxing, homely ,hotel. Friendly staff, beautiful surroundings. A generous buffet breakfast. The owners allowed us to use the coffee machine during the day. One minute walk to local ,traditional Portuguese restaurant, serving delicious food in the evening. A memorable place. Highly recommended.

Everything was pretty new.

This holiday home features accommodation with a patio. The property is 12 km from Church of São Lourenço, and within 300 metres of the city centre. Great 2 bedroom house. There was only 2 of us but this would also have been great for 4 people. Right in the heart of the old town with very easy walking access to the sites and train station. Plenty of eateries close by. Lovely little courtyard out the back for some outside shaded time. A washing machine which is a big bonus to get some clothes washed when travelling. Good kitchen facilities for home catering. Great communication with the host. Definitely recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay in Monte das Fontainhas, it is a true gem of a place, and it exceeded our expectations in every way possible! From the moment we booked the accommodation, Filipa was such an incredible host, she truly made us feel welcome and appreciated, answered emails with our questions super quickly, gave us amazing directions how to reach the accommodation, suggestions on great restaurants and where to shop for fresh fruit... we are so grateful to Filipa and Hélder, and all their staff for the amazing experience! The accommodation was truly incredible, from super comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen with a fridge and freezer, amazing bathroom with a bathtub big enough for two, beautiful hammock to enjoy on the porch... and an amazing seawater pool for a relaxing swim (it is much bigger than it looks in the photos!). The property is located in the nature so there are lots of beautiful birds and plants everywhere, such an amazing place. Other guests were nice and quiet too. The accommodation is close to many beaches, supermarkets, towns, so you can enjoy both the natural trails and culture. We truly enjoyed our babymoon and cannot wait to come again!! Amazing breakfast, the host is super friendly and will make you feel welcome. Beautifully furnished rooms, modern with everything you need. A few restaurants close by and just a quick car drive to the beach. Good parking right in front.

There is free private parking and the property features paid airport shuttle service. The breakfast was excellent. A good range of options. My room had an equipped kitchen, which would be great for longer stays. The staff was very outgoing and friendly. Very helpful with any questions I had about the area. It's only a few minutes drive to the center of town.

We had a phenomenal stay at Caz. Mark and Lizzie were excellent hosts who made you feel very welcome and couldn't do enough for you. The breakfast was fantastic along with the views and the quality of the accommodation.
