The lovely man running this place took such good care of us , loved a chat , brought us Sri Lankan snacks and made us such a great (huge) breakfast every morning. Hoppers and coconut roti so yum! Room feels fancy 5 star hotel , comfy bed , hot water from shower. Great price Definitely can’t recommend this place enough if you’re in Ella ❤️🙏

The family room was great! Two stories, both balconies (up and down) have a lovely veiw. Excellent bed with the best soft linen, good shower, everything so comfortable. Great breakfast served to the balcony with a choice of western or Sri Lankan. The manager was so nice and did everything he could to help. Nice and quiet, but close to the center. We recommend it!

Location is perfect, green everywhere, birds sounds, view on the milky way at night and you can see the train drive by during the day. Wish we stayed longer!

I would definitely recommend Saffron Eco Cottage for anyone looking to have a peaceful mountain retreat in Ella. It is far enough out of town that you don’t have all the noise/craziness of downtown Ella, but a short tuk tuk ride if you wish to go into town to enjoy the food. The accommodations were so so lovely and clean and the porch view was incredible! I wish I could have stayed longer…Sapu was a very kind and helpful host and super responsive via WhatsApp when I needed help with anything. The tuk tuk driver he recommended was also very timely and helpful and charged very reasonable prices. I truly can’t recommend a stay at Saffron Eco Cottages enough!!

A recently renovated property, Ella Silloam is located in Ella near Demodara Nine Arch Bridge, Little Adam's Peak and Ella Spice Garden. There is a private entrance at the holiday home for the convenience of those who stay. Each room is equipped with a terrace with mountain views and free WiFi. Very nice big room with own balcony, comfortable, big bed and beautiful view. Every day they arranged breakfast in convenient time and helped us with interesting locations to see in Ella. This place just 10min walk from 9 arch bridge and little Adam’s peak and 20min walk from City centre. Amazing location. Really had relax and cosy stay. Thank you for such a great time in Ella.
