However, the kitchen staff were incredibly accommodating, creating delicious and healthy breakfast alternatives that surpassed our expectations. The property itself is teeming with wildlife, with numerous birds and animals spotted throughout our stay.

The property is small, only four rooms, one day we were the only guests. The pool was lovely. Meals were excellent, and very reasonably priced. Villa Saffron is a beautiful boutique hotel.

Amazing pool and located right on an awesome beach. We almost had the beach to ourselves. The staff were wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. We chose the bed and breakfast option which was great and we loved the idea that we were able to choose a different breakfast each morning from the menu which wasn't a buffet. We ate at the property every night but one. The seafood platter with lobster was incredible! Everything was very well priced. Would totally recommend a visit.

Located in Galle, Villa White Queen Resort & Spa is 2 km from Galle International Cricket Stadium and 3 km from Galle Harbour and Galle Fort National Museum. Unawatuna Beach is a 10-minute drive away while it takes 15 minutes by car to reach Galle Fort. VWQ is a boutique hotel with very personal service. The staff were exceptional. I had 3 breakfasts and 3 dinners at the hotel and all were delicious. It’s only a 10 minute Tuk Tuk ride to the Fort and lovely to leave the busyness of the Fort to relax by the pool.

Adjacent to Unawatuna Beach, Sergent House is set in a boutique villa showcasing colonial architecture and originating in the 1800's. It is a three minute walk to the Unawatuna Beach and a 15 minute drive away from the historic 16th - 17th century Galle Fort. Very nice and unique small hotel, quiet and comfortable place for family vacation, excellent and hospitable staff, they can organize absolutely everything by your request! The hotel has own small beach that is very conveniently after overcrowded Unawatuna.

There is free private parking and the property provides paid airport shuttle service. HARD TO FIND - PLEASE CHECK TIPS BELOW!! Wow, what a new, modern, beautifully styled room. Nice quiet spot off the busy road, friendly hosting family, comfy bed and sheets, plenty of space to put bags and belongings, fresh open air bathroom with large plants, a bath and shower gel/shampoo. The problem was, we have iPhones and used Apple Maps to get to the place, and we never got there! The location on Apple Maps and the address on Booking.com is wrong!! We spent hours driving around with no wifi, asking locals where it was and no one knew. And no one was answering the number provided by Booking.com. So tips, use google maps to locate the place! There isn’t any business signs, it’s a large brick/block fence with a black gate on the corner (vacant block to door). I have added photos from the street. And lastly, it is well worth finding! They are also building a couple more rooms for the future.
