Wonderful stay with Gihan and Dinu! We stayed twice for a total of 7 nights. A wonderful, authentic experience in Sri Lanka. They are extremely kind and welcoming. They speak English very well, and we were able to take the time to ask questions and discuss many topics such as culture, sports, politics, food, customs, etc. This allowed us to better understand this country. They truly care about their guests, making sure we have everything we need and giving great tips for visiting the city and its surroundings. They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner if needed (we recommend trying it at least once because it's delicious). We did the cooking program, which involves buying ingredients at the market and then cooking together. It was great to see all the flavors they add to the dishes we enjoyed afterwards. They know a contact for a safari in Wilpattu National Park and can help organize it. Regarding the accommodation, it's located on a very quiet alley. There's a kitchen available and a pleasant terrace overlooking the small garden. The rooms are well-equipped and pleasant. We recommend a stay here for a wonderful human experience. Beautiful secluded villa on two levels overlooking the rice paddies and a proliferation of birds and other wildlife. Very near to Willpatu National Park. The place is spotlessly clean, spacious and comfortable. Manju the manager is outstanding and looked after our every need. He is attentive and answers to messages immediately. He cooked us a delicious lunch and breakfast and cleaned up after, we didn't need to do anything except enjoy the view, the birdsong and the lovely tranquil atmosphere.

The room was huge and beautifully decorated. Outside the gardens are lovely and absolutely full of nature. The staff are super polite and helpful.

Very nice place in a silent environment in the middle of the nature alongside a little lake. A bit away from the village which makes it charming. Lovely host Hansi cooks a delicious breakfast for you! You‘ll be the only guest, as only one of 3 planned houses is finished (April 24).

Pan domácí se o nás perfektně staral. Ve všem nám poradil a co mohl, zařídil. Staral se o nás nad rámec svých povinností. Jeho snídaně a večeře jsou fantasticke. Doporučujeme všem.

I had an amazing stay at Yu T Home Stay Anuradhapura! The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The hosts were so friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. The location was great—close to "Anuradhapura puja city" (Near 3KM ) but still quiet and peaceful. Place was very clean and have everything I needed. They have kitchen, dining room, attached bathrooms per each room. Kitchen is Fully equipped with gas cylinder, burner, rice cocker, pots, knives, cutting board and everything needed. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I’d highly recommend this place to anyone. I’d definitely come back again! 😍

Bliss Lake, Holiday Bungalow, Thissawewa se nachází na ideálním místě v centru města Anuradhápura a nabízí zahradu a výhled do zahrady. This is an excellent place for a family stay. It can easily accommodate 10+ people with an extra driver's room. All bedrooms have A/C. Rooms are spacious, well-maintained, and clean. Having four bathrooms means no rush in the morning if you want to attend a Pooja early. Being off the main street makes it quiet and yet easily accessible to nearby restaurants. The host was nice and attentive to messages. Highly recommend.

Breakfast we had was typical Sri Lankan fare with hoppers, curry, coconut sambal, roti, fruit. Excellent food and we even got a cooking lesson showing us how to prepare this at home.

The food is delicious and the owner are so kind, helpfull and frirndly. They help me a lot to organise my stay and visit. I really recommend this place. I love staying in this lovely place and I'll definitely come back !
