The house has everything you will ever need. The host was fantastic to liaise with & the location is fantastic no need for taxis it's a stone throw away from the many bars & restaurants. We had a wonderful stay & couldn't fault a thing, already recommending it to friends.

The grounds were like stepping back into the early 1800s. The views of the expansive fields framed the majestic horses…if you have a love of immersing yourself back in time, this place will make you smile! Like all old things, it is quirky. It is still a working farm and it’s trying to expand into the guest lodging world. The 2 bedroom suites are spacious and well appointed. The 2 bedrooms are separated perfectly by the kitchen, living room area, giving guests a little separation. The guest accommodations is a new venture, so don’t expect perfection but for the quality of the space and the magnificence of the property, it is 100% worth every penny and I would recommend to all my friends. Think rustic working farm with very nice self-service accommodation. Be sure to take a tour of Rokeby House next door, the grounds, gardens, and the host is happy to share the history of the property.
