The staff and owner Mike couldn’t do enough to ensure our stay was exceptional. We had room #6, which was apparently a “luxury” room…it was beautiful and much larger than we expected. Bed was VERY comfortable.

The location and cabin were incredible. Our hosts went out of their way to help us. We had an incident where the tire of our rental car blew out leaving us without access to a shop and no food in the cabin. They kindly provided us with a lasagne from their freezer which genuinely saved the evening for us.

The house was beautiful, loved the decor and had all the facilities you needed. The hot tub was lovely to use, especially after a long day of exploring. Kept updated by the host by messages and got all the instructions for the stay and top tips for the area. Would definitely stay again.

The Den - The White House Windermere ligger i Bowness-on-Windermere, 3 minuters promenad från World of Beatrix Potter, 38 km från Derwentwater och 42 km från Askham Hall, och erbjuder boende med en... It was perfect! Comfiest bed we've slept in for a long time. The facilities were great! Provided us with everything we needed after a long day. Very warm and cosy.
