Exceptional, nicely planned and thought out space with a cosy lodge and hot tub . Il be back 😁
The retreat was absolutely incredible. The photos do not do this place justice! The views, the cabin, outdoor shower and decking area by the pond were beautiful and so cosy. We had no idea we were staying on a full working farm with events on all weekend. We truly wouldn’t have to leave the farm for anything. We spent a lot of our time jsut walking around the farm taking in the scenic countryside views. We will absolutely be back for another stay.
Small charming quiet manor hotel with good two variety of dining options, dog friendly with lovely gardens around lakes and through forest and fields. Walkable to the cute village of Battle and the English Heritage site where King Harold fell at the point of an arrow by Norman William The Conqueror. Not grand but cosy. Loved the wood fireplace.
The staff were friendly and provided an excellent service. The room was cosy although next time we would book a larger one. We prefer to have a cooked breakfast but what was offered was acceptable. Enjoyed using the hot tub and sauna and wish we had done so on the first night rather than the last.
This is a perfect getaway! Really good value for money. The cabin has everything you need (everything has been thought of). Very clean and well done/ modern. Super cosy and warm and the bed was so soft and comfy! The hot tub is worth calling up and asking for it to be pre-heated as when we got there we had to spend about hour getting it really hot. But it is lovely! The path to the cabins is very muddy! So definitely bring wellies. Lovely stay and a gem! I will definitely be back
A lovely little cottage, cosy with excellent facilities including a hot tub. Everything you need for a break away.
The views were lovely. Cabin very cosy. Easy to park. Staff fast at coming out to an issue with the hot tub (but it didn't fix the issue). Close to the village town. Nice little selection of shower gel, shampoo, conditioner. Tea, coffee, sugar, hot chocolate all provided. No milk so bring some. Would go again, but this time we would have to bring more things with us.
Good location and great view from the cosy cabin. We loved the hot tub, chiminea and Adirondack chairs.
Absolutely charming and beautifully restored and decorated in an appropriate country cottage way. Countryside stunning. Garden and outdoors spaces were lovely.
