Villa Diletta is located 30 meters from the Nile River in the West Bank of Luxor. From the Nile aboard you can use the motor boat service, or of a municipal ferry. We booked the Blue apartment and it is even more beautiful than in the pictures. The balcony is amazing and has cute lights that make it very comfortable. The house was clean, the aircon was working and the kitchen had everything one needs to cook. Mohammed was an amazing host who was very helpful and made our stay very easy. While others try to rip you off everywhere you go he offered us his services. In the same sentence he also told us where we can go to take the cheapest boat that the locaks here also take. So if you want to book a taxi/boat it's save to ask him. We also saf ed a lot of money on out hot air ballon trip with his help. Very close to the apartment is a small 'supermaket' (hamada market)' with very friendly stuff where you can buy a lot of things. The apartment is also in an alley and i traveld alone with my sister, and he and the location made us feel very save. The key for the frontgate is exclusive for you and the other apartment.

A perfect place to relax after a busy day in the temples or at the souk. The pool is clean and refreshing. Ahmed helped us organize day trips and is very knowledgeable about the region! Clean, spacious, well equipped home with lovely outdoor area. Very private. Would have liked to stay longer. Hosts were fantastic - an Egyptian/Welsh combination ensured no language barriers for those of us who only speak English and were a great source of info on where to go/eat etc.

We were travelling with two young children and we felt safe all the time. All the tours and appointments worked like a swiss clock thanks to Adam! If you are looking for a real feel of Luxor I will definitively recommend staying on the West bank (compared to the busy and chaotic East bank) and I would definitively recommend Adam's place there!
