The surroundings were beautiful, the lodge was amazing and my only regret is that we didn't stay longer. The owner, Wolf Avni was so hospitable and made us feel so at home. He even sent through a hot loaf of freshly made bread and their trout patè. It was a wonderful touch. The hiking trail was amazing and highly recommended. The cabin we stayed in had a lovely fireplace that we used almost everyday because of the weather. The cottage had everything you needed and was in pristine condition. The staff were also very helpful and friendly. In the evenings they would pack and light the fireplace making the cottage even more cozy. It is ideally situated for a morning run/walk, horse riding, paddling, etc and to the restaurants scattered along the Underberg surroundings.
