We were pleasantly surprised by the unique and amazing interior design — it exceeded our expectations. The place is well-maintained, and the host was very responsive to our needs. There is a main road out front but didn’t really notice at night. Drive was only 5 mins drive into shops etc. supermarket only a couple of minutes away. Could have done with more than one tea towel and more hand towels in bath rooms.

    I loved the feeling of cottage mews, it wasn't a sterile motel room, it was cozy and homely. It was also spotlessly clean and the room was a great size. The bath was great with plenty of hot water. We will definitely stay here again next time we're in Taupo we really enjoyed our stay.
