From the moment we arrived, we were greeting by our hosts, Casey and Joe, and they couldn't have been nicer. They are such genuinely lovely people and they have a really nice B&B with a fantastic atmosphere. The place is spotlessly clean and the room is gorgeous. We had the attic room. The room has plenty of space and a very comfortable bed. The room has all the facilities you would need including a TV, fan, hairdryer and kettle. They also provide you with plenty tea, hot chocolate, several varieties of coffee and some tasty cookies too. The room also has plenty of sockets for any electrical items. The bathroom is stunning and has a large free standing rolltop bath that faces the window and there is a nice view out the window. There is also a nice shower. The bathroom is stocked with plenty clean towels and plenty toiletries are provided too. The room was serviced each day, towels were changed as needed and tea and coffee etc. was re-stocked. For breakfast, the options are varied to suit all tastes and the quality of food is excellent and delicious. The cooked breakfast is particularly good and certainly sets you up for the day. We didn't get to eat any evening meals there, but the menu looks great and from what I have heard, their food is fantastic. Based on how good the breakfast is, I was not surprised to hear such positive words about their other food. The B&B is also licenced and they have a bar. We did not drink in the B&B, but they have a decent selection of beers and quite an impressive selection of spirits, and in particular, a good selection of whisky. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Foulskye. We have booked again for next year and we are already looking forward to going back. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

We loved everything about our stay! As we arrived, we went straight to the farm, as had piglets and fresh born goats. We saw all animals were well taken care of and loved. Bar (reception) had everything we needed, so ordered drinks while we were checking in, as well as booked a table for dinner. Everything was flawless and very smooth. I particularly enjoyed the decor of the place. Bed was comfortable, breakfast and dinner tasty, and nothing seemed to be a problem at all. Everyone was very kind and competent. The place had a very specific charm and we absolutely loved it.

It was very nice, modern and clean. Perfect for what we needed. It’s also walking distance to a nice family pub with good home cooked food. There are lots of good walks around the property aswell which were mentioned on the welcome paper.

Everything about the property was perfect, had everything you need for a family weekend away. The house was beautifully decorated, the beds were so comfy. Everything was clean, had a lovely cosy feel. Loved the games room and the little toys for the younger ones , the safety gate and high chair were a great added extra! The owners were lovely and so easy to communicate with, nothing too much trouble. Location perfect , couldn’t fault it and had the best weekend with family.

Everything you need in the cottage, which is well designed and very comfortable and cosy. Very friendly, lovely host in James, available if you need him but respects your privacy too. Our stay exceeded our expectations, a great place.

    The host and the cottage were very welcoming. The cottage was clean, cosy, and well maintained with everything you would need for a comfortable stay provided. The hot tub and use of the large garden is a real bonus. It's in a beautiful area and a great location to explore from. Ourselves and our dogs had a great time.

    Scalby is a lovely village with two nice pubs. There's a tearoom next door. Lots of walks on the coastal path from cottage. We parked our 3 cars easily on the main Rd. It was so quiet in the cottage even though the road is quite busy. Our hostess was charming and met us with the key.The kitchen was wonderful, cosy lounge, big bathroom and bedrooms. Surprised at the private courtyard at the back. Didn't want to come home.
