The location was excellent, a 5 minute walk to the main street. The property had everything and more for what you would need. The cottage was modern, yet it still felt like a cottage. My granddaughter loved the bunkbed

Perfect base for us while visiting family who lived close to the property in the village. A home from home. Plenty of room for 6 adults. View of Craggy Wood at the back was lovely. The train runs at the back of the property but you hardly notice it when in the property.

Beautiful old cottage. Well appointed, quiet. The pub down the road was also fantastic- good solid food and well priced too. Amazing host. Went out of their way to help us do our laundry.

I couldn’t rate this home more highly. The attention to detail of the property was exquisite; the beautiful furnishings, the homely lighting, crisp white linen and the welcome treats upon arrival. The property is exceptionally well kitted out, with added extras- hot chocolate maker, air fryer, record player and clear ‘shop locally / environmentally conscious’ theme throughout. Everything within the property felt well thought through and purposeful. Very clean and tidy upon arrival. We agree without a doubt that we’ll be visiting again.     Nice small cottage in lovely countryside. Meet my the owner who was very friendly and welcoming. He was understanding when I told him I needed to get change for the £15 dog charge. The cottage is nicely laid out. There was tea, coffee milk, biscuits, cereal and biscuits which was lovely.

    Where to start. It’s more beautiful in real life than any of the photos can do justice to it. Quaint, cosy, homely, an oasis of calm!!! It felt like the volume got turned down in the world as soon as we stepped foot into the cottage. All amenities available, lovely touches of condiments, etc just like having your own holiday home. Anna always available and the perfect host. Loved every minute of it.
