A lovely clean room in the heart of the countryside but still conveniently close to Cirencester. The most incredibly friendly and helpful owners; you couldn't ask for better service. We had issues with taxis and the owner happily dropped us around a couple of times and wouldn't take any extra money!

The entire experience from start to finish was excellent! Very welcoming and accommodating hosts that gave me lots of space to experience my stay as if I was staying at my own house. It kind of felt like staying at a friends house while they were away. It was perfect. The bed was comfy. There were options for lighter duvets or heavier blankets (which was an absolute dream for someone who’s in the depths of Perimenopause like me! 😂) The bath tub is divine! I highly recommend that you pop to Tesco in Cirencester on the way there and grab a bottle of bubble bath and a few candles, so you can really make the most of it. There were extra towels, extra pillows and extra everything just in case I needed it. The room temperature was just right, the whole time. There were lots of different lighting options which meant I could have ambient lighting in the evening when I wanted to unwind as well as bright lighting during times when I was working. The wifi was fantastic, fast and stable enough for me to work from the living room for the whole afternoon without any challenges whatsoever. The grounds were so well kept and pretty and being around the horses was just beautiful and calming. Everything in the house was meticulously organised and thoughtful. The location couldn’t have been better for me working in the Devere Water Park, which was just a few mins drive away. It was simply the all-round the PERFECT cosy home away from home. And I literally couldn’t recommend it enough!

The Hermitage was a perfect place to stay. How wonderful to be able to drive up to the door & then have this spacious accomodation in a quiet garden setting greet us. We loved the decor, the comfortable bed, the washing machine, kitchen & felt it was a very inviting space. We appreciated the milk & biscuits on arrival & tea & coffee etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & left wishing we could stay longer.A

    This Cotswolds cottage stay was charming and cosy. The hosts kindly left us delicious fresh scones, jam, and freshly laid eggs. The house is perfect for a family getaway- lots of board games, a big kitchen, washer/dryer. The location was ideal for exploring the southern Cotswolds region.

    A beautiful location and surroundings of cottage gardens and some chickens was idyllic. The cottage was clean and well stocked. Delicious scones and clotted cream and jam on arrival and some fresh eggs to enjoy really gave an added bonus. Comfy beds and lovely decor.

    The house was lovely. Well located and cosy. The parking was a great bonus in the town with little parking available. Walking distance to the main town, church and museum, market, shops. Lovely cottage with old world feel. Well stocked with home comforts for cooking. Nice sized kitchen and dining area.

    Everything was perfect! All needs were catered for and Jean & Brian have thought of everything a traveller might need. The decor and furniture in the property truly make it a cosy cottage- as advertised! The Bungalow is situated well to see everything in the Cotswolds and is central to all attractions - perfectly summarised in The Guidebook provided by the hosts!
