I liked that the shops were in walking distance and the beach was right across the road and very close to the airport. The convenience is so much appreciated when you are new to Durban and have kids. There was also a Braai area and swimming pools in the complex. The security was top notch, so we definitely felt very safe. The place was very clean and modern and very well equipped. We had a very comfortable stay.

    It is great for a family or if you enjoy quite time for yourself. Great walks can be done especially taking a walk to the kwik spar which is a really nice store . The teenage kids loved the tidal pool .We also loved the mall which was 5 minutes by car .

    Lovely sea views.Nice balcony and deck area. We didn’t have enough hot water in the mornings and evenings for 8 people to shower. We saw lots of red ants along the stairs, the housekeeper sprayed the area but they were back the next day. Large fish tank in lounge area is empty and doesn’t look very nice. Checkout is at 10am but we were called at 9:20 to ask what time we are leaving. We didn’t appreciate that.

    I have provided my honest and accurate assesment in my review. I will recommend to any intrested traveller providing they have own transport. I would request the host to be available atleast due ring the day if there is any issue. It is a upmarket venue and really desireable place for spend few days in peace.

    We loved the sea view from the Balcony - breathtaking! The Beach was beautiful and close to our apartment. Sandbar Restaurant & Tasca Pizza - good food and excellent service. We highly recommend staying at Cozumel. Can't wait to go back!

    We had an amazing two-night stay at Summer Sunset Villa.

    We had an amazing two-night stay at Summer Sunset Villa. The property was clean, tidy, and thoughtfully designed with a minimalistic touch, making it feel both luxurious and relaxing. The high-end furniture and appliances added to the overall comfort and style of the villa. The views of the ocean were absolutely breathtaking—especially during sunset. We had a great time using the Big Green Egg for a braai on the first night, though the only downside was that the sides of the grill were a bit moldy. Still, it didn’t take away from the experience. The location is perfect too—just a short walk to the ocean and nearby restaurants, which was very convenient. The kids had a blast in the jacuzzi, and it was a nice way to unwind. My only suggestion for improvement would be to have a helper available on weekends. We found ourselves tidying up after every meal, which took away a bit from the overall relaxation. Overall, it was a luxe and peaceful stay, and I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a serene escape with stunning views and great amenities.

    It's a peaceful place to be, workable from the building to the beach and have enough restaurants around to grab a bite🤗. There are lot of monkeys around you can't just leave windows open coz they will mess up in the house and steal our belongings 🥺.

    Property is right at the beach. Take a morning stroll/run along the north &south beach road. Take a dip in the tide pools on the ocean. You can walk to restaurants and the Spar. You can take a Tuc Tuc to the Umdloti Mall. Gorgeous views from the property. Well equipped kitchen. Gas burner for braais. Smart TV for YouTube and Netflix with WiFi is available. Washing machine is available. Big spacious rooms and comfortable king size bed as you fall asleep to the ocean waves.
