Food, Accomodation, drinks, service were all perfect over all time we were there. Beautiful rooms! The hotel with its' restaurant can be fully recommended without any setbacks. A perfect hotel to relax in the heart of Stellenbosch, and every interesting location can be reached by foot. Very good hospitality. The managers are very efficient to run a perfect service on unprecedented high level. Highly recommended!

    With over 150 wineries, Stellenbosch is the premier location of the Cape Winelands. Our guide showed up a bit of the city. We saw the local university and the dining areas. We'd like to stay in the city on our next visit.

    Stellenbosch is modern and is a place for those who are looking for a calm place. The restaurants are very good. Had a spa at one of the wine states....the personnel was very professional and the spa facilities exceeded my expectations. It is cold at this moment but would like to visit again in summer time.

    The Rust en Vrede paired dinner was the highlight of our stay. Expensive but worth every penny. Wine farms in the area are all worth a visit - we especially enjoyed Uva Mera. Give Fat Boy Butcher a miss, over rated and over priced. Booked long in advance, but were given a table outside in the cold.

    The location is perfect, in central Stellenbosch within walking distance of everything! The staff are exceptionally helpful and the rooms are reasonable but with absolutely everything you need especially plugs etc. The breakfast was lovely too. The hotel is small and intimate. Being one of the oldest hotels in Stellenbosch and being in a good location, the grounds are small but good use of space.
