The location on the river is spectacular. The accommodation was well equipped and we did not want for anything. The host was extremely friendly and accomadating. Got the best lamb I ever tasted from the farm. Facilities are well laid out and private. Super safe and no keys, what a wonderful feeling

Absolutely recommend this place! Perfect value for money! Nice accommodation well located in Swellendam. The hosts were very lovely and always helpful with good recommendations. The accommodation had everything we needed, was clean and bed was comfy. Although the room was not that big, we had a small patio, a terrace with view over Swellendam as well as a big shared rooftop terrace, which was absolutely amazing! We saw a stunning sundowner from there and had a nice view of the mountains.

We had a great stay! Host is very communicative and friendly. The apartment is beautifully decorated and spacious. The patio has an incredible view. Was so great to use the braai! Lots of thoughtful touches. Would definitely stay again.

This is an excellent choice for your stay in Swellendam. It has a great location near the main street of Swellendam whilst being completely private near the river that runs through the backyard of the place. The rooms are immaculate and the attention to detail fantastic. As an ex hotelier it gives me such great pleasure to see these small scale operations doing so well. Riverside has only 4 rooms that each have a terrace with sufficient privacy. The rooms are large and the bathrooms oversized. Good amenities and Nespresso machines in each unit. Lovely pool and plenty loungers to relax after a day of sightseeing. Ample parking and a very friendly and accommodating host.

We were very warm welcomed by Renet, her husband and their dogs. Renet was very funny, she gave us a lot of explanations and infos… we really felt home in her lovely house, although it was just for one night. We would highly recommend to stay with her, unfortunately we missed her husband’s fabulous breakfast as we already had other plans, but maybe we will have the chance next time… thank you again for your great hospitality.

    This is a very relaxing place.

    This is a very relaxing place. Away from the huzle and noise of the City. The Breede river that passes the house make it more relaxing during the night listening to the water running over rocks. Will definitely go back again.
