a bit out of the main town which was so peaceful and beautiful views of mountains and paddy fields surrounding. free bikes provided for us to cycle into town easily along the river. The bed was SO COMFTY. Nothing was too much trouble to ask and we had a delicious bbq chicken for dinner one night :)

Clean, good shower and good wifi. Hugo is very nice and friendly and they include breakfast. Very nice place. I enjoyed my stay. I was sick and they cooked some rice and eggs for me. Thank you very much for everything🫶

Lovely team is very helpful with anything you might need to know, a lot of cute animals around, twice free yoga in a day. Unfortunately, we could not go trekking because it was raining. Would come back 100%.

As a remote worker, I craved both productivity and peace—Nguyen Shack delivered halfway. The serene environment and daily yoga were balm for my burnout, and the riverside hammocks became my office. However, the Wi-Fi was unreliable beyond the common area, making video calls stressful. The vegetarian meals were delicious, and the staff’s homemade ginger tea was a thoughtful touch. Rooms are basic (no AC), but the fan sufficed. Ideal for those unplugging, but tech-dependent travelers might struggle. Still, I left feeling refreshed, if slightly behind on emails!

We've been traveling in Southeast Asia for a while now and I have to honestly say that no other accommodation has treated us as well as he did. Super nice service when it came to excursions, food and special requests. Until we had food poisoning during our stay and he took great care of us. Tutu' homestay is just amazing! It was the best place we stayed at during our whole 2-month Vietnam trip. Our room was simple but had everything we needed. There is a restraunt on the property where freshly made food is served for a reasonable price at any time of day. The family dinner offered a variety of vegetarian food and was a good place to talk to other travellers. The owner, Tutu, helped us a lot with planning our activities and advised us about which caves we should visit after there had been a big storm. It is possible to rent a motorbike at the property and the gas station is close by. All in all we would definitely recommend you to stay there and check out the great atmosphere yourself! ~ Annika & LP :)

Had such a good experience with this homestay. Booked for two nights, and got picked up from the bus in the evening. Super clean, nice personell and so helpful with booking tours and transport. Definetly recommend!
