For me it was just a 1 night stopover but this was a perfectly good place to stay. The room matched (or exceeded) the photos. The staff were very helpful even if there were some language difficulties. The area is pleasant for a stroll with everything you need. This type of hotel can be a little impersonal but it was a totally functional and comfortable hotel

    Vinh is not really a holiday destination.

    Vinh is not really a holiday destination. Very much a business town, however after the frenetic pace of other places such as Hanoi, Saigon and Da Nang amongst others, it is a relaxing and quieter place to be.

    Nghe An has a unique tea island in the whole country and...

    Nghe An has a unique tea island in the whole country and it's very picturesque that cannot be found any where in Vietnam. Khe Kem waterfalls is OK but pretty far from Vinh. There isn't many choice for tasty food though.

    Not much to do here .

    Not much to do here . We stopped en route from Hanoi south to break our journey . We picked a hotel with s pool . Pool was green and not useable! Walking in the area is difficult as footpaths poor .
