honestly the best hostle I've ever stayed! I love meander. As a full-time remote working designer, I love the 2F co-working space, it was spacious and calm, enough lighting, and love the slide to the G floor! How creative! I stayed in a 8-ppl female dorm, and I absolutely loved it. I love how my locker was very spacious for everything and with just a card-key, and also extra space for my suitcase. The lightings and chargers on my bedside are perfect. Everything's clean, very thoughtful at the showers - where you enter your shower, there is a glass divider for shower and an area for your clothes to hang up. Staff are super friendly and welcome. All the traveller from the hustle I met were also very nice, easy to talk to. I've been to SGN a few times already, and I really believe this hustle is the easy access to many good restaurants, cafes and such!

The room was so well thoughtfully done. Really love the small details put into the room. The room was spotless. The bed was very comfortable. Located at a quieter area but still not far from Bui Vien street. It was just perfect. The staff were so warm and friendly, and were always ready to help out in every way possible to make the stay very comfortable.

Always staying at Mai House when coming to Saigon, once again the experience was good. Appreciated that this time the staff anticipated my liking by giving me a corner room that is more bright. As usual, the colonial style is nice to see, the rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean and the Vietnamese food of the in-room service is good. There is some small steps being made by the hotel to provide more sustainable & environmental friendly single-use goods over the years, which is quite important for me & for an hotel of this standing, continue the efforts!

The room was way better than I expected. It was very clean. Toiletries, tea, coffee, fridge, and kettle were provided. It is located in District 1, yet very quiet. No outside party noise was heard. Perfect location. Easy to get to from airport and within walking distance to Bui Vien (walking street - party street) and Ben Thanh Market as well as Notre Dame. The owner is very nice and went out of his way to provide recommendations and book me a Grab/Taxi.

    It was just another city in many ways but we did enjoy the markets. Cafe apartments are worth a visit but the food was disappointing on a Saturday night with multiple cafes sold out of food? Don’t go to Decoration Street - it was suggested on an instagram reel I saw. Seriously… avoid!!

    Lots to do and see!

    Lots to do and see! Saigon Opera house is always showcasing great theatrical performances and I watch the Bamboo Circus. walking down all of the streets as well as the history of the vietnam people, the war time locations.

    I really liked this city, there's so much to do and it is so...

    I really liked this city, there's so much to do and it is so cheap. Be careful of getting in taxis, use the app Grab, I was ripped off twice when I first got there by taxi drivers, once at the airport and a second time by working on meters, we are talking the difference between paying 1milion vietnamese compared with paying 40,000 on the app. Other than that I had a great time and would definitely go again.

    its a full on fantastic city. whatever you want or your needs are its there at a click of the fingers. from parting to chill. i will always be checking back into saigon ( sin city ) HMC. Food is delicious from pho to rice to noodles to bahn . few streets back of the main drag nicer and cheaper. easy to get around good walking or grab bike or car.

    I just arrived and will be there for some time.

    I just arrived and will be there for some time. My advice is not to stay in Quan 1 because many buildings are not fully accessible unless in big hotels. Many hotels are in lane ways behind shops and not accessible by cars. Taxis leave your luggage on the street and you trek your luggage through the laneways to your hotel. Some fancy hotels are actually located in these laneways and they have staff in front to carry the luggage.

    Ho Chi Minh City is incredibly busy, with chaotic motorcycle/scooters traffic that feel like it hasn’t changed since 1970. Surprisingly, despite the chaos and frequent near-misses, there aren't any accidents or visible vehicle damage. The unspoken restraint and calmness of Vietnamese drivers stand out, contrasting with what you might expect from such dense traffic. It’s a striking reminder that different driving cultures can coexist with surprising levels of order. A takeaway for Western countries is to learn from this calm, collective approach to navigating busy streets.

    It is located in District 1, within walking distance of everything you’d want to visit in Ho Chi Minh City. The hotel is very clean, and we had a room with a balcony. What I liked the most was Anna, who was always smiling and eager to help. They also offer a free laundry service, which was incredibly helpful for us since we were on a long vacation.
