Nam was definitely the best host I’ve ever encountered. Really devoted to help you for anything (booking boat tour, bus tickets, rent bicycles…) you can count on him. Me and my girlfriend stayed in Rustic House for 4 nights in the beginning of March 2023. We had a wonderful time here and we would recommend anyone to book a stay here as well. The family who owns and runs the hotel are some of the nicest people on the island. They offered us anything we could ask for and when we got sick they proposed to get medicine from the pharmacy. Their English is not perfect, however this was never an obstacle in order to communicate. The room is - obviously - in a beautiful, rustic style. But more important is that everything was clean and that the room had a beautiful view over the reservoir. Keep in mind that you have to be a bit pro-active in case you want to get clean towels, toilet paper, etc. But given the environmental state of the earth, we can only applaud for this! The hotel offers basic needs regarding drinks and food, just what anyone would need during the day, or late at night. The a-la-carte breakfast however is more than sufficient: a lot of choice and everything is made fresh and super quick. To summarize: beautiful and clean room, very friendly family who takes care of their visitors. The breakfast was delicious, and in a few minutes walking you are in the middle of the touristic center of Cat Ba. We would definitely stay here another time if we ever decided to come back. For now we will leave this lovely experience to you!

The greenery space is very refreshing, in the picture it was already captivating, but being there is even more delightful. The room is neat and tidy, the essential oil scent is very pleasant, and the staff are extremely friendly. Ginger, the dog, is intelligent and friendly, a loyal Golden Retriever breed.

I went to Cat Ba on the occasion of the storm, everything closed and almost inactive. But unexpectedly, Quiri was a family hotel, they were very friendly. I ate with them, had good cocktails and I decided to stay one more night because there was no ferry to go to the mainland. I did not expect, everyone here was so funny and kind. They take care of me from everything, even when the storm is coming, they still go to check and invite bad to eat at night with them. A wonderful experience, I like to be in Quiri

Was central to the stuff going on in Cat Ba, great value for money as we are travelling on a budget as a couple, breakfast is included too which is a an egg and some bread and fruit which is served in their 'cave cafeteria' which is pretty unique. The owner let us check in early which was great too. Room was also acceptable for cleanliness.
