Such a unique stay on our Route 66 trip, where we treat ourselves with a stay at Hard Hock Hotel. The reception desk were exceptionally welcoming, we were checked in by Hannah who was extremely lovely and was enthused by our British IDs we handed over, which made the check in experience a bit more personal than an every day check in. The hotel room was exceptional, with free water bottles and chocolate bars, as well as a cookie each at check in. The hotel room was clean and tidy, very spacious and the decor was great, we were situated in the tower building and had a great view on the 14th floor. The bathroom and shower were brilliant, we were sad to leave after only one nights stay! Staying in the casino was unique and interesting, with a lot of options for food. We did have access to the pool but didn’t use this.

The place is clean, quiet from street noise, breakfast might not be that wonderful but it works for those who can eat burgers in the morning, coffee and tea and juices and fruits were served above all the gym is available $100 is required when you check in though it is not mentioned before

    Tulsa was a breath of fresh air!

    Tulsa was a breath of fresh air! A great, family friendly trip. There was so much to do. The Gathering Place is like nothing we've been to. Completely free, and so well done! We went 3 days in a row, and still didn't do everything that was available there! Mother Road Market, Big Dipper Creamery, and Josh's Sno Shack were other food highlights for us!

    We came for the event Tulsa Tough Crit racing.

    We came for the event Tulsa Tough Crit racing. We were able to walk to all the events for this race. The downtown area, the art district was very close and easy to find attractions. I found a coffee shop called the Foolish Things, very nice staff.

    People were friendly by the most part.

    People were friendly by the most part. I did see alot of homeless people. My daughter and I felt it was a decent city and plan to come again to see my son and his gf. We ate at IHOP, Cracker Barrell and On the Border. IHOP was very good and affordable, Cracker Barrell I think I'll pass on as well as On the Border. We plan on going back and trying Arnolds soon.

    The city has changed a lot . Some for the good an a lot for Bad . The Gathering Place is a very good place for family fun . Plus no beggars an dope attics Downtown was decent also . A lot of construction going on

    Tulsa, Oklahoma: History, Culture, and Entertainment in the Heart of the U.S. I had the opportunity to visit Tulsa multiple times, and each time, I was truly impressed. It is a vibrant city that blends history, iconic architecture, and modern entertainment. Its Art Deco architecture is among the best in the country, featuring landmarks like the Philcade Building and the Boston Avenue Methodist Church. In Downtown, the stunning Holy Family Cathedral and the underground tunnels provide a fascinating glimpse into the city's past. As part of the legendary Route 66, Tulsa is home to key landmarks such as the Cyrus Avery Centennial Plaza and Mother Road Market, a great spot to enjoy local cuisine. Nightlife thrives in Midtown and the Blue Dome District, with bars like Tulsa Bar and the lively Whiskey 918, perfect for country music fans. For outdoor activities, Gathering Place and Riverside offer beautiful landscapes, biking trails, and recreational spaces.     Love Tulsa. I live about 2 and half hours away.

    Love Tulsa. I live about 2 and half hours away. I try to make it 2 to 3 times a year for a weekend music getaway. Love going to all the music venues. Tulsa is a great music town. Staying downtown in walking distance is super convenient. Makes for a nice weekend getaway a few times a year.

    A good, spacious room in a central location though not the very closest to the best spots downtown. In fact both the streets around the hotel are really quiet at weekends, mostly office buildings. The room had good AC and a nice bathroom, although I was expecting a walk-in shower as on my previous stay some years ago.
