Room was very well equipped and spacious. Bed was very comfortable and the pull out couch was very convenient to help a friend who arrived too early for check-in. Very well equipped with minifridge, lots of closet and drawer space for belongings and storage.

The hotel is gorgeous. I am very impressed with the service. Staff in the hotel at the highest level. Everyone is very helpful. (Especially the front desk service. We arrived in the middle of the night, the gentleman at the reception desk was extremely kind, very patient and helpful, when I paid several times by card but the payment was not accepted due to incorrectly set limits.) Room very clean, exactly like in the photos. Very tasty breakfasts. Perfect location - right next to the train station, so you could come, drop your shopping and go back to Manhattan. I am most impressed with the extremely friendly, professional and very kindly front desk staff. When I am back in NYC I will definitely stay at this hotel.

    I was scheduled to check in at 3pm but had an early flight.

    I was scheduled to check in at 3pm but had an early flight. The staff however made it possible for me to check in at 12pm with no additional cost for which I am very grateful. The Plaza is also about 4 minutes away from a train station that takes you where ever you need to be which was very efficient

    The hotel felt very old and is not located in the best...

    The hotel felt very old and is not located in the best neighbourhood as there is a lot of rubbish in the streets and homeless old people which is so very sad to see especially in US (NYC is one of the richer city's in the world) but I was told this is normal... Only positive note, the staff were genuinely lovely and helpful throughout my stay. I’ve also heard it’s considered one of the better options in the Queens area.

    The staff was disrespectful and lazy.

    The staff was disrespectful and lazy. They don’t want to do their job as far as house keeping is concerned, they don’t even want to give you towels. As for the building, it is known for prostitution, drugs and god knows what kind of other illegal activities goes on in that place. The staff plays along with all that goes on in there and they act as if they don’t know what’s going on. The rooms are filthy and the noise level at night is crazy. It’s one of the worst hotels to ever vacation on, it’s not worth it for all that money.

    This hotel is clean and comfortable bed and spacious room. It is quite new and I loved how easy it was to get to the JFK just 4 minutes walk. A short bus ride and you can get to Queens Boulevard for shopping at places like Burlington, Primark, JD shoe store and more, lots of places to eat. I will definitely stay here again whenever I need a place to stay near to the airport and shopping.

    Queens offer more than what meets the eye.

    Queens offer more than what meets the eye. You will find bodegas on every corner, convenient metro stations to get into the city, and cheap restaurants with great food, including food trucks open 24/7. A must-see is Gantry Park right by the river, offering beautiful views.

    The location was great. You can get the hotel by the 7, N and R trains (Queensboro Plaza) and the E train (Queens Plaza and Court Sq) from the airport. The staff was super helpful and the room had enough space and very cleaned. I was a 1.5 mile away from Gantry Plaza State Park which is a great spot for walking, running and spending some spare time.

    The breakfast was great. Best thing about this hotel. Had I known the location I would not have booked this hotel with kids. There are some sketchy streets you have to pass to get to the hotel. I also reached our separately for getting the sofabed done as we arrived late - that did not go as requested.
