The hotel is right by the sea, so it's perfect for long walks on the beach without having to drive for ages. Watching the sunrise either from the veranda or from the beach was an absolute highlight. The staff are very friendly and helpful with anything you need, especially housekeeping. There is complimentary coffee/tea at the front office in the mornings since they do not serve any breakfast. But there are plenty of choices withing a 3 mile radius.

    Beach is beautiful but cold, perfect for bodysurf with the kids! The most difficult in Old Orchard Beach is to select a good hotel, since a couple of years the price are very expensive and you need to pay a couple of hundreds dollars/night. In high season the low price motel are mostly outdated and disgusting, it's very frustrating to pay 300-400$/night for a motel who are normally a 75$/night motel.

    This is our favorite spot to vacation; I've been coming here as a kid and my husband and I spent part of our honeymoon there - that was 30 years ago. We've since taken our kids there and they fell in love with Old Orchard Beach as well.

    I really like it there, but it’s all very pricey.

    I really like it there, but it’s all very pricey. It helps if you bring some of your own food and drinks, and enough money!! There are ATMs, although you will get charged a fee from both the ATM and your own bank.

    If you love to walk on the beach you can walk for miles on the beach here. The beaches were clean. The only thing in short supply in my opinion were restrooms. We were only able to locate restrooms downtown.

    Property clean and amenities provided.

    Property clean and amenities provided. Owners were kind, friendly and helpful. The only drawback would be the train that ran less than 20 feet from our door. It went by every two hours or so. This was not mentioned on the website at all when reservations were made.

    Bring earplugs because the trains run all night. That or turn up the air conditioning and keep windows closed. The beach was very clean although be prepared as the water is very cold. The area near the pier had some unsavory characters and panhandlers. So I did not feel comfortable walking there in the evening. Not a lot of good restaurants within walking distance. Joseph's by the Sea was excellent but limited menu. Need a reservation. Very popular.

    The room was spacious. The bed was very comfortable as was the entire room. The staff was kind & courteous. I had never stayed at this resort before, I highly recommend it! It’s close to Palace Playland, and also the beach! A great location, a great hotel with amazing rooms, great staff & wonderful amenities! The Wi-Fi worked, there was a pool & hot tub. I’d definitely stay there again!!

    Our down syndrome daughter LOVES this hotel. Mostly, because everyone is SO friendly & very quick to help us in all request. We asked for chairs, they arrived IMMEDIATELY to our room. Our floor had just been cleaned (wow) but was still wet (safety..) as soon as my husband returned from the office, a person was right behind him with a dry mop ! WOW

    The location of the hotel near the beautiful beach and the nice outside pool, heated, with sea water were a definite plus. The suites are comfortable and pleasant, opening on the pool and overlooking partially the ocean. A wonderful place especially if you have children, on the quiet side of Old Orchard Beach.
