Check in was really familiar, like coming home to an old friend. When we got the room, we were overwhelmed. Beautiful, clean, excellent in all aspects. We would say that Villa Venezia is not only worth a visit or worth the detour, it is worth the trip. From Europe. If you ever get the chance to stay there, do it! We are actually considering going back to Ft. Lauderdale from Stockholm, Sweden just because of the fantastic Villa Venezia.

Best hotel price quality ratio in South Florida. Located at the Beachfront, there are also two swimming pools surrounded by fifty year old Australian pines and many plants. Spacious and comfortable rooms, some with fully equipped kitchens. Excellent breakfast. Family business run by its owners: very kind people, you will feel at home. Close to Sunrise Boulevard (Shopping Mall area) and Las Olas (Nightlife zone). August 2022 was my first time and it won’t be the last!

    It is great the weekend I went had a great air show with Blue Angels flying in the sky. It adheres to multiple vibes even the club scene to go dancing or the family- bike rentals are available enough restaurants on the strip and one of the Best Pizza shops in Broward not like Chicago or New York pizza but still good and large in serving.

    I just loved going for breakfast asking for water, there were 4 of us! You can only get 4 waters per table, or we will be charged? Strange! We had cardboard pancakes, the manager took care of that grateful for her! On a good note our waitress was great, no fantastic! Only good thing about breakfast! The manager also compt us for the next day, was good! Again Thank you! For what you pay for the hotel you shouldn't have to pay for parking, they nickel and dime you to death here! Really sad! The rest of Fort Lauderdale does the same! Not worth the stay!

    Not the great vacation/convention spot it was 25 years ago. Expensive add ons including parking and chairs to enjoy the sun. Construction, no direct water views. Making reservations for jet ski excursion was a joke (Esteban). Pools and hot tub not monitored. Regular/daily pandhandlers on the main streets. Not relaxing. unlikely to return

    Nice resort and beaches.

    Nice resort and beaches. There are busy areas if you like them, but also quiet areas. We visited the State Park, which was lovely. Hotel on Riomarr Street where we stayed was good and well located. Nice rooftop bar and quiet for sleeping

    This was our second visit to the Lago Mar, albeit 18 years ago we were there the first time. We came back for the pleasant atmosphere and vibe and we were not dissappointed. Time is standing still when in the Lago Mar, relaxing around resort and beach. Sure, time has taken it's toll on the property, but in a good way. Everything is nicely kept in what could be the 1960's. Don't expect a minimalistic, modern hotel, but a charming Florida decor. Staff is very friendly and accomodating. Surely we will be back.

    This hotel is located in an area of Fort Lauderdale in our opinion very beautiful, parking is practically impossible not to find, the welcome and friendliness of the staff made us feel at ease, when you enter this hotel from the outside you immediately have the view of the spa area really not to be missed unfortunately we did not use it due to bad weather, Clean room, spacious and with the necessary comforts. If we were to return to Florida it will definitely be one of our options.

    Everything! The resorts location was amazing, right on the beach, and only a 3 min walk to downtown Lauderdale by the Sea. They provided you with so many value-added options like beach chairs, umbrellas, bikes, boogie boards, etc. Resort was extremely clean and well maintained. The entire area is so vibrant, safe and chill, and our first time to Lauderdale by the Sea and the Windjammer will not be our last.
