I decided to look for a cheaper option compared to the Central Boston hotels, and Arcadian proved to be a great choice! My room (TH118) was relatively small, but cozy, the bed was very comfortable, flat-screen TV, WiFi working well, nice attached bathroom. Heating/cooling unit worked very efficiently. The hotel lobby has a lot of comfy seating, an area where you can read, hang out, work, eat, or play some table soccer. It looks amazing and is very inviting. Staff were very kind, smiling, engaging, and offered great recommendations. The location is also amazing. Green Line stops literally in front of the hotel and takes you to Govt Circle in about 15 minutes. Trader Joe's and several eateries at Coolidge Corner within 5 minutes of walking (try Upper Crust Pizzeria!). The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful, I've been told this is where many doctors and their families reside. I was very impressed by The Arcadian and I would absolutely recommend it to future travelers as a bargain deal!

Varied selection of coffee shops, bars and restaurants. Trader Joe's for all self-catering needs. You can walk to JFK's birthplace and tour his family home which was fascinating. Area feels very safe, good for strolling around and seeing distinctive, historic architecture - Dutch House was a highlight. Public transport into the city (tram) very easy. Mecha Noodle Bar at Coolidge Corner, and Martin's Coffee Shop (classic diner) were favourites.

10 minute walking distance to Brigham and Women's Hospital...

10 minute walking distance to Brigham and Women's Hospital from this Inn. Lots of places to eat nearby. Getting to the Green Line is easy. The Museum of Art is one stop away. Since I've been coming here for years, I've seen a lot of the area. There is something for everyone. Be sure to go to the top of the Prudential Building. Food, drinks, view and staff are great. Duck tours, walking tours, historic sites,- all accessible.

Brookline is a well-to-do, leafy suburb of Boston. I don't know that you'd go there just for Brookline itself; but it was a great base for a 10-day work visit where most of my engagements were on the western side of the Boston city centre. Always felt safe even late at night.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Good having bed and breakfast. Breakfasts were adequate. It was a 40min walk into the historic and shopping areas and the train stop was a 2min walk away. About 10min walk to great Italian restaurant 'Bar'cino. And good Mexican in other direction Los Amigos. Very nice little park and lovely suburb to walk around. Very safe.

It's a beautiful city, especially in the fall.

It's a beautiful city, especially in the fall. I really enjoyed touring the neighborhood. Restaurants are a little pricey, but as my daughter said, it is a high-end neighborhood. The food at the Japanese restaurant was great.
