Cylia and all the staff were fantastic and made sure we didn't miss anything! We are two young women and we stayed at the Ruhija Gorilla Guest house for one night and then tracked with the gorillas the next day but we would have stayed longer! Our room was fantastic, spacious, clean and with two big comfortable beds. The dinner they cooked for us was great and Cylia is careful to fulfil your every wish. Before dinner we visited the village (an experience not to be missed) we met the local people and visited the school and the orphanage; all the people are extremely kind. Staff were awesome...such a welcoming and service oriented group. Particular mentions to Tony who was always ready to help and share a joke and to Lazarus the manager who was so welcoming and informative. The rooms were luxurious...huge bathroom with bath, huge balcony with beautiful views, big and comfortable bed. We had full board option and the food was excellent and plentiful. Attention to detail...drink on arrival, ensure we had everything ready for gorillas trek, turn down beds with hot water bottles, fruit in room, clean shoes after the trek.. etc Location was only 10 minutes away from start of gorilla trek so extra sleep in
