Some lovely beaches short bus ride away. Busses frequent and cheap. Recommend Star beach in particular. Ephesus well worth the trip. Shop and Restaurant staff very pushy, everyone declaring "no hassle" while hassling every passerby, very annoying. A small enough centre for tourists to easily navigate, providing good local restaurants, bars and local shops. Once you get beyond the obligatory fake trainers and other "good value brands" there's some really interesting backstreet more authentic Turkish fare and trade to experience. Kusadasi what such a pleasant surprise as a whole and we really enjoyed the town and the beach that this hotel was on.
