"It was a great stay. The manager made sure that we felt welcomed and provided lots of useful information upon check-in. The hotel has good vibes, is clean and fresh, and has a great location! I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bratislava. It is a charming place, and the breakfast was good. The coffee was perfect!"

The owner did not want to accept us into the apartment at all. He rejected our reservation without any valid reason or explanation. We felt very humiliated and disappointed. Shocking, horrible, incomprehensible. Extremely bad experience and feeling.

We were pleasantly surprised by the neighborhood (Petržalka)...

We were pleasantly surprised by the neighborhood (Petržalka). It’s a very well-maintained and green area, with lots of open spaces and parks. You can really tell that the locals take good care of their surroundings – everything felt clean, tidy, and peaceful.

The apartment is located on the left bank of the river...

The apartment is located on the left bank of the river Danube. Its about 10-15 minute walk from the old town. There is lots to do in Bratislava especially if you want to chill out from the hussle and bussle of daily life. Cafe culture is evident all over the city. We really enjoyed the coffee in the Cat Cafe (MacKafe) as we love cats but if you're looking for high end then you have to go to Konditorei Kormuth for the hot chocolate and cake. As for food the best we found that suited our taste was Bratislava Flagship. Serving traditional food and beers/wines it had a great atmosphere and history too. The Castle Museum is very interesting and on a clear day from the UFO observation deck you can see three countries. Mooching around the street of old Bratislava is relaxing by day and then out for food and cocktails by evening. A great location if you're looking to get away for a city break but not crowded out like you would be in London, Paris or Vienna. Will be back!
