The living style in this city is very relaxing, not too crowded or large like Stockholm, but the facilities in the city are very extraordinary. Gothenburg is a very nice travel destination for families! We loved Alfons Åbergs Kulturhus, which is an interactive museum (for kids under 7, I would say). In Universeum, there are cool science exhibits, an aquarium and a terrarium, a rainforest to explore, and much more (all ages!). The botanical garden is perfect for picnics and strolls. There are many well-maintained playgrounds throughout the city. You can also take a boat ride through the canals or along the coast.
